What the club says: This 18 hole pay and play course, which opened in 1992 was originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. The 5,530 yards of golf course provides challenges all the way through the 18 holes you play. Several lakes provide plenty of interest along the way and the well placed bunkers catch the errant shots that all golfers commit at times!

I like this course. It may not have a flashy Clubhouse or 5 star facilities, but its a good, honest, value for money round of golf. The layout may lack the drama of some courses, but they've done the best with what they've got and I've always found the general condition of the course to be very acceptable. Hope to play here again soon. Last played June 21st Score 101 - Aug 24 2014

Golf Course Reviews for Hurtmore Golf Club
Well drained ground makes this one of our favourites, especially in wetter weather. Pleasant landscape and good greens. Shorter course, but makes for a pleasant round. Friendly staff in office and cafeteria.

we?ve had recently I was quite impressed. The course has
a few tricky little dog legs and a few lakes to go over, and
the bunkers had actual sand in them, that?s novel these
days lol. Liked the course a lot, would recommend.
Short course suitable for higher handicappers & new players. Fairways and greens in good condition, and held up well to the wet weather. Bunkers especially good quality. Tee boxes muddy and some renovation work going on on the paths. Nice clubhouse. Main negative is that the holes are crammed together closely and with the variable standard of play going on, lots of balls flying into wrong fairways which felt dangerous in places. However good value (£13 each for threeball) and we all enjoyed the day.
