What the club says: This 18 hole pay and play course, which opened in 1992 was originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. The 5,530 yards of golf course provides challenges all the way through the 18 holes you play. Several lakes provide plenty of interest along the way and the well placed bunkers catch the errant shots that all golfers commit at times!

Hurtmore GC review
Great course with some interesting holes of varying length, so it rewards the thinking golfer as well as the big hitter. Thoroughly enjoyable - and round in less than 4 hours too.

Greens were nice and the fairways were very poor.

Short and pleasant
Well kept, good greens, interesting course, not overly long though. Good clubhouse facilities. Very well piced.

Short course
Very busy course when we played with some very slow very elderly gents on ?scooters? getting their monies worth if based on shots played. Course condition was below average as wear and tear was apparent. The course is frustratingly short. Clubhouse staff were very friendly and helpful.

elmer
Played with a golf society in atrocious weather conditions ( rain and strong winds) . The greens are large , true and well maintained. The fairways were a little bare due to the hot summer , however we allowed balls to be placed . Despite the weather it was a fun course.Score: 84 Handicap : 11

Nice easygoing course
Played on the 16th August. Good greens and great layout and short so great for beginners as well as low handicappers. Greens were long, slow and soft to help with the hot weather and rolled pretty well. Fairways were poor which I understand is due to the hot dry weather of late, though I would normally expect a club which is fairly modern and charging £35 pp to have a irrigation system for their fairways... It really let the course down! Would play again for cheaper and in the autumn or spring.

Good course
Nice greens today even though the fairways were baked. Had the measure of the course until the 14th, although putting and irons from about 80 yards were not great all day! Will return and play again.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: )

enjoyed my round today
Course was very dry and brown except the greens due to dry weather. Taking a divot almost impossible due to hard ground. Greens in good condition but easy to bounce through.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 114 Handicap: 34.9)
