Plenty of bunker rakes available but didn't appear to have been used.Distinctive lack of people shouting ?fore?.

Very difficult conditions with frozen ground. Unable to get tees in and the ball bounced on impact up 10 to 15 foot.

Okay

Short course
Very busy course when we played with some very slow very elderly gents on ?scooters? getting their monies worth if based on shots played. Course condition was below average as wear and tear was apparent. The course is frustratingly short. Clubhouse staff were very friendly and helpful.Reviewer Rating

A couple of temporary tees. Bumpy/patchy/slow greens. Some fairways a little bare in places. Background noise from the A3. Bunkers ok. Short and not overly interesting. It is cheap, especially for this part of Surrey and you get what you pay for.Reviewer Rating

There's nothing wrong with this course but it's not particularly interesting.
Situated right next to the A3, you can hear the drone of traffic on every hole.
The course is still quite immature and will be better in 15-20 years or so when some of the trees have grown up a bit more.
Well priced at ?20 though so worth playing for a quick and easy round.

Short and sweet, not as easy as it looks. Mainly irons off tees. Lots of hackers with me being one on day we played. Greens were good

simple and straight forward (115 yd par 3 is SI 6) - very short 4 par 4s under 260 yds. Good for high handicappers and those wishing to cut their h/c (unjustly).

Started our round at 0800. Everything was going good. Until we reached the 10th. Where we got stuck behind a queue from a society starting on the 10th.
The people in the pro shop were friendly and very helpful. Where as the staff in the restaurant all seemed very moody. Saying that though, the breakfast was good.

There is really only one thing to say about this course - its way to short to take seriously.
I'm a medium to long hitter off the tee and I managed to drive two of the par 4s with relative ease of the "visitors" tees.
Which brings me to my second gripe - if you have a course which is woefully short, why would you reserve the back tees for members only ?
I'll not be playing here again if I can help it.

Both warm-up nets out of commission (ripped through).
Bunker drainage inadequate (puddles, solid and compacted sand)
Fairways and greens in brilliant condition considering recent weather.
Some cruel pin placement on the slopes of the greens, both for approaching and putting.

great winter course

Nice course in need of a bit of tlc
A short course but with many interesting holes. Some of the greens are tricky needing care to avoid 3 (or even 4!) putts. The course provides a worthwhile challenge for both low and high handicappers.
