What the club says: The course incorporates the natural landscape of woodland, meadow and lakes, making the course easy to walk, naturally beautiful and a golfing challenge. The course provides great variety as well as year round playability and fantastic USGA standard greens.

Great course
Quite short but lots of variety and two of the last 3 holes can be card wreckers! Greens in good nick and fairways not too bad.Reviewer Rating

Not long but tricky enough to be a challenge . I’m told it doesn’t winter very well but today was excellent. Club champs last week so probably seen at its best

Bit quirky par 69 or 67 I think it is depending on which tee's you play off. Enjoyable experience but priced the same as other courses. I'd play there again but will try a few other courses first. Doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try.

Great condition - greens with pace
Hadn’t played here for a while so very pleasing to note high standards of upkeep with greens in great condition. A little disappointing to note tee boxes not matching general upkeep but maybe because of recent weather. If you’re playing for the first time be wary of a tough finish from 14 onwards - potentially a card wrecker.Reviewer Rating

A great find. Booked a last minute Saturday morning tee time and was pleasantly surprised but this short but interesting course. The finishing holes are particularly memorable with blind dog legs and a long carry over water.

Great value, very well kept
Fantastic and creative course that is very well kept, greens are immaculate. Great value for money as well, highly recommend. Only issue is that it's short, but it's still challenging within the distance.Reviewer Rating

Nice steady course
Cold day, hard frozen ground so landing ball on the green not a good idea. Course in good condition, greens ran true. Bunkers in general frosty so difficult to take sand.Reviewer Rating

Course layout had changed since I'd last played here with 1, 2, 17 and 17 being different. Managed to whip round in a little over a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon and wasn't held up. Good value at £25 post 2pm. Changes were decent and worked well. Course itself was in pretty good nick if a little muddy in places. Greens were receptive and rolled well. Didn't have time to sample the clubhouse either pre or post round but decent welcome in the bar which appears to be where they check you in these days.

Entertaining
I play here with a group of friends one or two times a year. Every hole haa a different challenge. The three closing holes are particularly difficult. Wonderful landscape and rolling hillside and lakes keep you on your toes. Great value for money. Friendly staff.Reviewer Rating

We will never return
We arrived in plenty of time , we asked for a course planner ; sorry we do not have one . We were told cross over the bridge after the 3rd hole and you will be fine . There was hardly any signs to the next tee on the whole course ; we were stood on the wrong tee 3 times to add to the 'fun' there was not many straight holes and with no description of the hole on the tee posts we did not know if it was a dogleg left or right ! We only had one mobile with us and that ran out of power on the 4th hole !!Reviewer Rating
