Leave it until summer

New holes good and make course a bit more of challenge especially 16 which has a long forced carry through a narrow target area. Bunkers spotty, some with good sand others with builders mud. Slow greens, really muddy fairways. Will pass on playing again until next year

Played here a few times but due to last visit will never go back. Phoned 2 days before and booked a tee time for 10:12 with no problems, only to find rather aggressive group of 4 lady members on the tee annoyed that myself and my friend would be following them. After an abrupt conversation on the tee where we were quite understanding of their annoyance, it proceeded to take 3 and a half hours to play 10 holes. All the way round them explaining to us on every tee why they would not let us play through as it was 'ladies day'. Members, please remember when at your course, you represent your club! An age old attitude to the game that can't die out soon enough. Nice course, terrible attitude. Pro in the shop reluctantly refunded after 10 holes.

Better than expected

Not been since the sale of land of three of the holes, new holes interesting and new greens very good, overall good impression, condition I would say good apart from the 18th tee, need complete restructure. Its not long but some nice holes and if they keep the condition up I would say I would be more than happy to play it again

Great course

Hadn't played here for ages and found the 'new' holes nicely bedded in.
Fairways and greens in best nick I could remember for a long time.
Quite a short course but doesn't feel it as several challenging holes.

Attackable, thought provoking course where a low score is achievable

Relatively short, but well thought through course. Position, rather than length is the key, although take a driver and a low score is there to be taken. Long par 3s, especially from the whites and dogleg par 4s and 5s make this a course to play better the second time. Saying that, I threw caution to the wind, hit driver a lot and somehow missed the trouble all day. Handicap 4, 70 gross (back tees).

Friendly club for the visitor. Relatively flat, parkland course so not too strenuous. Usefully can play just the front 9 which is very reasonable. Fareways do become very scorched and dry, greens are well kept. Enough space for the odd wayward drive, I suspect not a massive challenge for the low handicap player but for those of us on 15+ there is plenty to attack.

The course has been scorched by the summer, barely a green patch on any of the fairways. Tee boxes are apauling not a single one had a flat spot, the 12th could have been filled with sand and called a bunker. The greens however were very good indeed, amazingly quick and in great condition. Considering so many tee shots are blind I think some sort of guide would help newcomers a lot. There are \"lollipops\" to aim at but some of them aren\'t placed very well. 17th is very very pretty and for such a short par 3, very challenging. 18th is a joke if youre playing it for the first time. I would not come back again, there are much better courses within the crown group.

First time playing here. Excellent course with several doglegs, changes in elevation and water on a couple of holes including the excellent 18th. Played in heavy wind and rain so was hard to play to handicap but will be returning in the dry to have another go.

Nice steady course

Cold day, hard frozen ground so landing ball on the green not a good idea. Course in good condition, greens ran true. Bunkers in general frosty so difficult to take sand.
