An incredibly attractive course so typical of the top woodland/heathland courses that are found in Surrey. Every hole is framed by a varied selection of holes with the occasional hole enjoying a tree slap bang in the middle of the fairway!
The course is short but such is the tightness of many holes that it takes a brave or foolish player to reach for the driver unless you are totally comfortable with the big stick.
Greens are fast, fairway is dry and consisitant despite a hideous winter.
Overall, the views and general ambience is fantastic and it is a course I am happy to recommend to others of all levels.

Played here at the invitation of Richard Norman (via Golfshake), and found it to be a real hidden gem. Not long but plenty of very interesting holes - tight with trees as well. In very good condition overall, the greens being excellent. Good clubhouse and Halfway Hut. I look forward to returning a little later in the year.

Played on Thursday evening and the course was is very good condition, with the greens fast, but smooth. The fairways are all pretty tight, and you need to be accurate rather than long off the tee on most holes. Even though it had rained a lot during the week the course had no standing water on it as it is all on sand. A realy good course that makes you think a bit more than some. The back 9 have some of the best looking holes Ive played on in Surrey.

Played here for the first time today and loved it. Great fairways in good nick, well paced greens and lots of wildlife and trees about to make it aesthetic too. Very enjoyable!

Fantastic Course, great place

Excellent course now with a lot of trees and bushes removed so nice and open. Bunkers in good condition with nice "sand".

Hadn't played here for ages. Course in good condition and greens were true. Seemed to have cut quite a bit of the rough back which was good news. Nice variety throughout the course including varying changes of elevation. Well looked after by the club on a society day with nice meal post round.

Interesting Course
A different kind of challenge - the course meanders around the countryside, with very different obstacles on every hole. apart from a couple of holes squeezed in alongside the busy road, almost every hole has something different to offer.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course..
Lovely established course with a range of interesting and challenging holes. Greens are still recovering from winter and some disease but still very playable.Club is welcoming with a friendly atmosphere.
An excellent halfway house for that mid round snack and refreshment.

Great course
Played today at an Open event as find the normal green fees too expensive. Despite the rain, course in very good condition and only a couple of holes on the back 9 muddy. Nice variety and challenge with some holes easier than others! Great halfway hut and great value.Reviewer Rating
