Fantastic Condition
Middle of February, all greens in use and in amazing condition fro Autumn, never mind winter. Not particularly muddy. When other courses in the the area are either closed or quagmires, this course continues to be open and offering quality golf.Reviewer Rating

Nice ...if not a little too similar
Really enjoyed the round at Purely Downs. Cracking start on a picturesque par 3. The course is not overly punishing, and if your scoring well then sometimes this distracts you from analysing the course itself.But having thought back I'd say how well maintained it was, (considering the awful golf conditions we're having), but I'd also say it was a touch same same for too many holes.
Would I go back - yes without doubt. A dull course well looked after is better than a interesting course that's unplayable.

Super Course

Really good
Very nice but very challenging course greens were in excellent condition quite hilly in places well worthy a visit(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 116 Handicap: 23.8)

Course in great condition. Greens good but a little slower than I expected. Well looked after whilst there and decent pint and sandwich in the clubhouse post round.

Nice course, superb condition
Played at the end of a very wet March but the course was quite dry and in superb condition.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 80 Handicap: 10.4)

Great course in excellent condition despite being the middle of winter. Goes up and down and all around. Some of the par 4's are slightly unfair in that they have dips in the middle which means unless you bomb it a mile you will hit the fairway and roll back a considerable distance which then leaves you with a considerable shot up hill. But other than that it's a pleasure to play. Nice food both before and after round too and very friendly in clubhouse.

Great Course in Croydon
I have only played here once, in a 2 ball. It was a great little course, with some very tricky holes, but well worth a visit, I am sure you will come back again.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 17.4)

Lovely course, great views
Great course - tees, fairways and greens in great condition. Superb views over London from some the holes. Generally quite wide fairways - could probably do with a couple more trees and hazards, but overall a very enjoyable round.Reviewer Rating

nice rolling parkland course
