Links style golf inland
An inland course playing hard and fast with rolling hills and a breeze was as close as you will get to links golf inland. With stunning views of London and fast and true greens, Purley Downs is a great experience and a true test of golf.Reviewer Rating

First time on this course with a society, and despite the weather it did not disappoint fairways drained well and still plenty of roll with good shots onto fairways , the greens ?.. well they are the best I have played onReviewer Rating

epic course
all different types of holes ... long par 4s, short par 4s, tricky par 3s. Perhaps only missing piece is a long par 5, but it really didnt matter because the course is 10/10 in design, challenge etc. Also ... very well kept, greenkeepers are doing a great job with fairway maintenance, tee area. Greens are good speed. £35 rate after 1.30PM on week days is a really good deal.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Condition
Middle of February, all greens in use and in amazing condition fro Autumn, never mind winter. Not particularly muddy. When other courses in the the area are either closed or quagmires, this course continues to be open and offering quality golf.Reviewer Rating

Course in great condition. Greens good but a little slower than I expected. Well looked after whilst there and decent pint and sandwich in the clubhouse post round.

Great course in excellent condition despite being the middle of winter. Goes up and down and all around. Some of the par 4's are slightly unfair in that they have dips in the middle which means unless you bomb it a mile you will hit the fairway and roll back a considerable distance which then leaves you with a considerable shot up hill. But other than that it's a pleasure to play. Nice food both before and after round too and very friendly in clubhouse.

Beautifully presented course with quality fast greens (not that easy to read) outstanding views across London skyline. Pro staff and bar staff very friendly and we were made to feel welcome. Will be considering applying for membership once I want to settle on one course. Not stuffy like some members clubs I've been to.

Interesting course with superb views of London. Course in excellent condition. Greens very fast and undulating, but very true. Long par 4s challenging for the shorter hitter.
Highly recommended.
