Shame about the greens
Played in a society on 22nd April. Staff are great as normal. The fairways and tees were in good nick but the greens were awful. Hollowtined with little or no sand in the holes. Bumpy, slow and inconsistent. Make putting a lottery. Bunkers look good but there is very little sand in them. Such a shame. Hopefully they are working on rectifiying thisReviewer Rating

Good value for money
A reasonably short course but with some interesting holes. Playing off mats through the winter now, but mats are good quality. Good value for moneyReviewer Rating

Much improved
Course in good condition, with the greens much improved. Not the longest course, but some challenging holesReviewer Rating

Lovely
This is a lovely course. Two very tight holes to start then you walk through some woods into what could be a large country house's grounds. Not over long, but some very challenging holes. Accuracy of off the tee pays huge premiums. Decent club house with the bonus of a balcony overlooking the 18th green. Just got I new head greenkeeper so definitely one to keep an eye out for.Reviewer Rating

Short and tricky
Nice course to play in the summer, soft fairways and well maintained greens. There are many trees and narrow fairways will make it tricky for those of us who can't hit faiwaysReviewer Rating

Slow ...
Possibly one of the slowest courses I've played. Been here several times now - we try to play during the working week when we have a day off - as most clubs its normally an older set of players, no problem with that, we're not exactly young, but its generally 3 and 4 balls and all the times we've played here not one of the groups will let you play through. Standing waiting at every single tee - literally yesterday waiting at the 1st tee for a 4 ball and had to sit behind them the whole way round. Ground is like concrete due to lack of rain, greens are slow, fairways are fast, course generally in good condition. Unfortunately not a marshall in sight to keep the pace of play up.Reviewer Rating
