Course i felt was very poor condition. The fairways were to long and not cut. Greens were the only things that seemed to be looked after. Disappointed

Course was very wet that day due to heavy overnight rain, in some places the fairways were actually waterlogged so realistically the course should of been closed but will still nice to get out play as the sun was shining on a Sunday morning.

Poor condition

A small society day with16 .. fairways were bare and greens had been hole tined but ran dreadfully, this made golf an unpleasant experience. The course needs a lot more care and attention.

Course improving slowly

The new green keeper is improving the greens with the current works. Lack of staff has seen very little mowing apart from fairways. The rough is approaching knee high in places which even the pros will have difficulty getting out of! Not best use of limited resources. We are forever hopeful.

3 winter greens in play obviously sucked but understandable given the recent weather. The winter tee boxes are all huge and you do not slip like you do on those tiny ones you get at some courses. Would have expected the rate to have been reduced but no. Otherwise course not bad condition and the reduced yardage meant I scored well. As always; a good local course to keep your swing ticking over while you wait for bigger golf days to come along.

Heard good things about this place but was very disappointed on the day. Fairways were not in good condition at all, half the bunkers were unplayable due to laying water and the winter mats were very poor as you could hardly get a tee in them. Might try again in the summer but was a let down today for sure.

Quite a good course in the summer months but blighted by marshy clay ground, which prevents a proper game a lot of the year.

Not worth travelling any distance to play unless sure it is dry and not worth £13 twilight.

Plenty of frustrating temporary tees shortening the holes (at least put the mats at the same distance as proper tees)

Staff have no awareness of customer service and you feel you have to be careful not to upset them while there.

Five and a half hours for 18 holes is no good. Lots of signs saying Marshalls will be driving around for slow play etc and we didn't see one. Lots and lots of groups of old codgers who are only hitting the ball 50 yards at a time makes for frustrating play. Even more so when there's groups teeing off every 7 minutes. Three groups waiting at a time to tee off on most of the holes.

When booking at the club shop over the phone was told that it wasn't busy on Wednesdays with a midday tee time. Another course just mugging off customers to get in as much money as possible.

Course condition itself is very average.

They will not be seeing us again.

Good course, pretty in the summer and well maintained for a municipal course. Offer a student discount but the prices are high, you can play significantly better courses for £25
