Great round good coarse, in good condition quite difficult but still a good coarse for price.

All of the fairways are really well kept however one or two of the greens aren't in the best shape. The bunkers are not the best, the majority are full of stones and could do with more sand.
The course itself is a good mixture of challenging holes with a lot of hills etc. and easier holes with wide fairways.

Course played better than has done for a while. Fairways superb, but the greens still need a lot attention. Please Glendale spend some money and make this course great again.

Fantastic views over the Solent with some very challenging holes. Course needs work on drainage as it gets very wet in the winter. Some holes closed when weather is very bad.
Overall good course, the setting is probably one of the best in Hampshire.

Clean well kept course but greens boggy when rains and not draining equally or running true, but all in all the course is still being developed and matured to a more challenging course which is good!(Round played: Sep 2013 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16)

Much improved course condition to when I last played. Greens a little soft and some of the fairways are wet/muddy, but on the whole good value for money

Over grown fairways, terrible sand and patchy greens. Despite all this Crookhorn remains a course with a lot of character and I always enjoy playing there.

Despite living locally I haven't played this course for some years since it was taken over by Glendale golf. Lots of investment was promised but didn't occur. In fact basic maintenance was forgotten and course got something of a poor reputation.
I was pleasantly surprised today. It is clear a lot of work has been done over the winter and course is getting back to a good condition.
It is a really challenging hilly course with great views. A public course that everyone should play once at least.
Check the green fees as what we were charged did not match advertised rates on the website.
Dinghy pro shop with limited stock.
