What the club says: Since opening in 1990 the course has matured into an interesting parkland retreat. Designed to accommodate both new golfers and competent players the course layout consists of testing par 3s and par 4s which have been carved seamlessly between a variety of man made and natural lakes and hazards. The well maintained fairways are forgiving enough for the novice to enjoy a round but the strategically positioned bunkers and water features will test even the low handicap golfer.

Furzeley

My home course and generally in good condition although sometimes fairways need another cut, greens are very good. Since the end of lockdown the catering facilities have been scaled down a little.

A Gem

A great little course. Bargain greens fees, not a long course but nevertheless challenging, and very enjoyable. Refreshment facilities are more than adequate. The cafe is fine for snacks and a hot or cold drink. If you want something more substantial then there are excellent pubs within a short drive. After 9 or 18 holes nothing better than to sit with a drink on the patio overlooking the 9th green.

Interesting little course, facilities lacking.

Furzeley is an interesting course, with two different loops of 9 making the 18 holes. It?s very short with 10 par 3s and 8 par 4s, but still a fun course to play and testing in parts. It is however let down by the complete lack of facilities on offer, when I played there was nowhere to sit after the round and the only refreshments available were what was in the fridge at the shop. Drinking a beer out of a bottle stood outside the front door with nothing to eat put a slight downer on what was otherwise a good days golf. I would recommend the course but not the club.

course ok

The tees are awful and nearly all of them slope. Greens not bad but could do with more watering.
Cafe is useless, used to get a meal and drinks but now just drinks and a sausage roll.

Poorly maintained

T off areas badly worn and not maintained, idiot in front was on his phone most of the first few holes. Players were drunk and taking shots across the water on the back 9 where there is no green. It’s a well used course which has not been maintained.

Test your short game

Excellent for practicing your short game. First 9 holes are mainly par 3s. Back 9 is more challenging
