Played Pavenham Today, and found the course to be in very good condition, with greens especially quick today (assume this is because it was Presidents Day this morning). Pace of play was quick (went around in 3hrs 10mins). Would highly recommend this course, as course is good with some challenging holes, and the staff are very friendly.

excellent course recovering well from damage in 2018 summer and winter. Greens are tricky but true and would recommend for players of all abilities.

Great course in good condition
Lovely course in great condition for the time of year, as always at Pavenham the front 9 greens are much harder than the back and the first four holes can ruin any round but always enjoy playing there......mostly!!!!Reviewer Rating

Great location and course
First time playing Pavenham Park. Location is fantastic, right in the middle of the countryside. You hear the odd train but nothing else. The shop and the staff seemed good, helpful and polite. I'm glad the scorecard had a map as on a couple of the holes it wasn't totally obvious which way you went next, such as 1st green to 2nd tee, so could do with a little more signage to direct you. The layout is great, a nice mixture of holes, with the long par 3's particularly enjoyable. Uphill and down with side hill lies not uncommon but nothing lung busting either. Very wide fairways with next to no rough to speak of and in pretty good condition. The greens also pretty decent for the time of year with the dressing going on. Some lovely slopes on the greens to contend with. I'm sure in the summer when they are hard and fast they will be a challenge. Overall a very pleasant place, friendly staff and locals, big fairways and not too long either, driver and mid/short iron most of the time and good value. Played today, as we do most weekends. Course in very good condition considering the hot weather we have had. Always a challenging course, but I really enjoy playing here. The staff are very friendly, and always enjoyable. Usually play on Saturday's when it can be busier, but most people let us through, as we are only a two ball. Speed of play today was fast (only took 3hrs 10 minutes for whole round). Definitely worth a visit.

Front 9 greens are totally unforgiving as fast and there's not a level spot on any of them. A great challenge.
