What the club says: Located at nearby Biddenham since 1896, the Club moved to a new purpose built complex at Stagsden in 2000
The 18 Hole Championship Course provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities. It was designed by Cameron Sinclair, who is famous for designing exciting golf courses which make the most of the natural terrain. Created in the 1990's when the club moved from its home of 100 years nearby, the course has matured amazingly well. The course benefits from indigenous woodland along its full length of one side and within its central area. In addition it boasts many beautiful oak trees dotted around the landscape.
The Par 3 'Academy' Course makes a challenging but fun short course for golfers of all levels. For the more experienced player it is ideal for practicing your short game, whilst for inexperienced golfers it can help build the self confidence needed to take on the main course. There are eight Par 3 holes and one Par 4 hole to finish.

Excellent Challenge
Great course with plenty of challenges- course management is key. Lots of sloping lies. Greens are in great shape, fast and true. Some long par 4s. Wind speed and direction will affect how you play the course.Hit good shots and you will be rewarded- but bad tee shots won't kill your round either as the course is fairly open and the rough not overly penal.
Thoroughly recommend if you're in the area. Be aware, it is quite a busy course so you will need to book in advance!

Played 2 Rounds Early Oct 20
Despite wet weather during the week the course was in fantastic condition. Greens pretty quick but true..pretty hard to read but not ridiculous. Fairways perfect. Used to play off 18 but coming back after a few years break.. if you are similar 100 is a good round. It looks easier than it is course management is crucial.

Really enjoyable, the greens are in excellent condition.
A course that I?d wanted to play for sometime. I wasn?t disappointed in the slightest. A good test for all handicaps & the all they greens were In superb condition.Handicap 19 Score 90

Really enjoyable
Great course in great condition, made us go through our bags thinking about the next shot, greens very true holding short chips or lofted pitches but also very fast. Friendly staff all round from shop to the bar after.

Great to play here again
In high winds, and a long time since my last outing, thoroughly enjoyed this undulating course. Great food afterwards too.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 102 Handicap: 26.7)

(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 18.7)

Definitely come back

Well maintained, enjoyable course
My friend and I have played at The Bedfordshire as visitors for a number of years and have always enjoyed playing there. Our visit in June 2019 was no exception. The course is very well maintained and is quite challenging both in terms of difficulty and physicality. The staff are all very friendly and the food quality has improved since we were last here. We would play here again.

Really enjoyed this track. The condition was superb for the time of year.

Fantastic course in excellent condition
Played the course in the Spring sunshine. Excellently maintained. Tee time of 11.30 you can not book a specific time however in advance. No waiting. well stocked shop.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 31.3)

A very good course
My friend and I played at The Bedfordshire in October 2018, having last played there in July 2017. The course was in excellent condition, particularly the fairways and greens. It is a challenging course, both from a golfing point of view and the physical challenge because of the undulating nature of the course. We both thoroughly enjoyed our game. The staff in the pro shop and clubhouse were friendly and professional, and the food afterwards was good. We won't leave it so long before playing there again.

Stunning course
Just joined this club, it is without a doubt the best club around the area. Course condition and greens are just about perfect.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 73 Handicap: 0)

Simply outstanding
First class in every aspect

Great course well worth a visit.
First time played. A very good course, interesting holes. Sloping fairways with raised greens and water on some holes. Course in great condition. Will definately return.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 20.7)

Stagsden
Course was superb, in years this will mature fantastically well. Wind made it hard but greens were some of the best ive played.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 24.4)
