Yeah right!
Members said the greens were like lightning - yeah right - if these greens were quick they would be unplayable - shoot at pins and tweak it a a yard left or right and look forward to a chip off of the green! Good luck holding anything if you hit the centre of the green - very penal?If you are looking for a line off most tees, just aim in the middle of the 150 yd markers, that are probably 150yds between the two - you could land 2 A380's side by side on most fairways. I hit it like an idiot and missed most fairways (yep that wide!) and still shot 36pts off 12!!
How that slope rating compares to other courses of similar set up, I will never know...
Hopefully it will be 5 plus years before I'm invited back to play it again....

Shocking
Course has gone seriously down hill, greens haven’t been in a playable condition for months and continue to worsen, bunkers are a joke, needs some serious investment.Reviewer Rating

nice course hidden gem, some tricky water. Little short of the yellows. I would recommend this for intermediate golfers.

A fairly local course to me and one which I therefore play quite regularly. The greens on the front nine are quite tricky, and that can get a lot worse if they cut them too low, so your ball may not stop on the slopes. Greens at end of June were a reasonable pace and consistent throughout the course. Bunkers and fairways were good, as were the tees, although they are working on one or two of these. Greens were receptive following some rain.
The only complaint was the pace of play, which was expected as we were a two ball playing amongst 3's and 4's. The 3 in front of us were very wayward, and despite being members, obviously had no intention of letting us through, despite losing at least 2 balls in the first 4 holes. The member I played against in a national knock-out competition said that was a regular problem. He also said that they never turn away a society, which explains why the course was so busy. That and that they have around 800 members also trying to get a game means it is always busy.
My best suggestion is make sure you are a 4 ball, as that seems to be the pace of the course.

I couldn't work out if the greens were amazing and too hard for me or if they were just a bit crazy golf. The first and fourth punish you even if you play a good shot and no green holds the ball.
