Incredible Course - Highly Recommended
This course is a definite must play - the staff are very helpful and friendly and the course is in great nick, especially considering the harsh weather conditions recently. The food is great - served quickly and very tasty and as far as cost I would say it is very reasonable considering the quality of the course - they have various deals for potential members and the food bypasses its price by far in my opinion. Although there is not an actual driving range they have a driving practice area in top nick as well as a top of the range putting area and an already good chipping range that they have currently invested in improving further. They do their utmost to maintain a good pace of play and are always open to criticism. All in all a top of the range course that I would be happy to play anytime.Reviewer Rating

Excellent condition. Exciting greens. 6 are Augusta like, 6 flat and 6 gently undulating. I'd rate it one of the best for overall experience in the area.

good course with variety of holes. greens extremely quick and tricky. have to mention wind in this review as on some greens it was almost impossible to stop the ball if putting down slope, on 8th green had 6ft uphill putt which went 4 inches past the cup and then rolled back to my feet. staff and members very friendly. food excellent

A genuinely great challenge of golf

Outstanding
We played as a group of visitors on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. The welcome we received from the golf shop staff was first class.This was also matched by a well presented course whose biggest feature is the undulating and fast greens combined with lovely views of the surrounding Bedfordshire countryside. . We all enjoyed this excellent country club venue and will return in the future.

Well maintained undulating parkland course in Bedfordshire with an interesting layout of 5 par 5s, 8 par 4s and 5 par 3s. The greens are a main feature with tricky slopes and grain making the choice of shot to the green a challenge, but the greens are true. Bunkers were being refilled on the day and declared GUR but the greens staff advised us in advance. The clubhouse, pro shop and greens staff made us feel really welcome on the day and we will certainly play there again.

Played course on 04/09/21. Was in very good condition, greens neat & tidy, and playing quite fast today completed round in 3 Hours 35 minutes. As usual staff are very friendly & welcoming.
Play here quite regularly and always find staff are friendly & pleased to see you. The only down side is it can become slow with lots of society's.

Played today, as we do most weekends. Course in very good condition considering the hot weather we have had. Always a challenging course, but I really enjoy playing here. The staff are very friendly, and always enjoyable. Usually play on Saturday's when it can be busier, but most people let us through, as we are only a two ball. Speed of play today was fast (only took 3hrs 10 minutes for whole round). Definitely worth a visit.

Tremendous course which is getting better with age! New lake on the 18th hole makes a superb finish.
Greens were in great condition . I've played all the nearby local courses and this one stands head and shoulders above for its consistent great condition and interesting and varying layout. Clubhouse and staff excellent.

Superb course always in great condition .
Augusta style greens on front nine with gently undulating fairways. Back9 more mature with flatter greens. Best clubhouse and service in area.

A tale of 2 nines here.
front 9 is good, but back 9 is very ordinary.

After playing for the first time, I am looking forward to a return visit. A few of the blind tee shots favour a look before you hit, if not, the score will soon increase. The greens had just had a little work carried out on them, but even with seed on them, they were still fast. Do not land on the RH side of 4, you will more than likely three putt! The pro in the shop was very helpful, giving us advise before we went out on the first. The back nine is easier than the front 9, but still a good challenge.
I cannot comment on value for money, as we used the smart golfer network.
