Awesome course! Im a member of Mill Hill and also Finchley Golf club and was a member of The Shire, Radlett Park and Stanmore in the past so I know the area quite well. This public course gives private clubs a run for their money as the interesting layout of Panshanger makes it a 'definite return' for me. It allowed me to play my best golf i.e tight fairways, strategic tees and superbly placed greens make the approach very interesting..so high demand on course management. I used the GC2 sim before my round and was able to dial in my club yardages - havent been able to assess them in a while. Overall I loved Panshanger!

After recently playing a few rounds at Panshanger, I am absolutely delighted with the facility. The course is always in good condition and the greens are actually outstanding for a public golf course! The variety of holes Panshanger offers keeps things interesting around the whole course, you are faced with some tight tee shots and some picturesque views!
Panshanger also has a pro shop stocking a large amount of golf attire, it even stocks some clubs and bags.
I had a warm up on the simulator beforehand which was an interesting (highly recommended) experience!
I would definitely recommend giving Panshanger Golf course a try, the staff were very welcoming and I thoroughly enjoy it every time I get the chance to play!

excellent golf course. Well looked after. Tight fairways. Greens lovely. All staff welcoming and helpful. Do have a small shop, and all knowledgeable. Would recommend playing. I like it so much i joined the club.

Love the course. Now become a member. Great facilities. Staff really welcoming and helpful. The fairway are lovely. The greens are very professional. The whole course is set in lovely trees around the course, so very challenging for those with a slice or hook.

The course is set in parkland on the edge of Welwyn Garden City. It measures around 6400 yards. I have always been satisfied with the condition, especially the greens whenever I have played. I think it offers very good value for money. And although it is a municipal, I prefer it most of the member courses in the area. There are now CGI videos of all 18 holes on YouTube.

Breakfast was supplied before we played with a view of the 18th fairway and green. Course is interesting, challenging enough for a beginner, kept in good condition its a pleasure to play here.
