Good course for drainage, so plays well in wet conditions. But is a municipal and sometimes the state of the course (length of grass on fairways, quality of greens and tee boxes) reflects it. Price varies but feels like I'm not getting value of I get charged more than ?25 for my round

lots off trees
had a better game did t at 7.10 am at least we was not held up to bad this is a tough course you seem to do a lot off up hill and very little down(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 29.3)

Unbelievable value for money
Very good municipal course. Hadn't coped well with the recent warm weather but excellent for the money.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: 18.5)

Best Public Course in the Area
The course is very challenging and well maintained. It has some very difficult holes especially for golfers who slice their drives. Greens in good condition and fairways holding upo well despite the dry weather.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.1)

Very dry. Grass turning yellow. In reasonable condition. Nice to see that the bunkers had been looked after and were raked over.

22/02/2020. Fairways in great condition, no soggy patches and course was firm underfoot . Trollies allowed and for £20 it’s a bargain for a course of that quality.

Enjoyed this. Partner is a high handicapper & wide fairways ideal. But still plenty of challenges. Keen to get back here. Greens & Fairways in decent nick considering.
