varied and challenging short course, lots of par 3's, lots of trees and water too! so makes this a tricky but rewarding course.

Greens for time of year were superb! Course playing long but good challenge, enjoyable round messed up only by my own instabilities!

Course in quite good shape considering the warm weather we have had in the last few weeks. Greens are nice and lush and fairways, although hard are still quite good. Could do with more signs to tell you where the next tee is though. Can be a little confusing to say the least.

Good condition considering amount of rain days before playing. Greens were in great condition.
course is a bit on the short side though, but nice amounts of water & wildlife.

2 totally different 9's , the front being a very good test of keeping on the fairway and out of the water to the left and in the woods to the right on every hole, the back 9 being a short pitch and putt, keep your driver in your bag you really don't need it

Very local to the Caravan Club Site which is handy when touring. Course in good order in open parkland with many holes going round a lake.
Fair walk to get to back 9 holes but very enjoyable and excellent value for money midweek and twilight hours. Can be a problem with duck mess and feathers on some fairways.

A fairly short course having started life off as a 9 hole. Lots of water which can punish you severely if you don't keep it straight and the geese can be a pain. Does anyone know if goose guano counts as a loose impediment or not?

With its sister course Thorpewood this represents some of the best in pay as you play courses in terms of the quality of the playing surfaces.

Good pro shops are available but food and drink is limited to whats on offer at the adjoining pubs, although this is of pretty good quality.

A tight and tricky course

Course of two halves, first is around the lake but watch out for the water midges, literally a cloud followed me the first 9 holes, not very nice.
The back 9 is totally tree lined and very short, so leave the driver in the bag. I lost many balls off the tee before realising this. Also there is a public footpath parallel so a group of lads set up a picnic on the 18th tee.

Lovely short course with a few challenges

Short 'technical' course where you easily end up in the water! Well maintained for a public course and easy to get around (No hills etc). Can be very busy at week end as costs are very reasonable. NO food other than snacks on site, but Beefeater pub just a minute away.

Nice little municipal course

Greens in very good condition but course is a little too short for me. Good value for money though

Nice tight and therefore demanding course. Plenty of water so gets a bit boggy / Clayie when too much rain falls. A number of differing holes and ways to approach them. Enjoyable but take a few extra balls.
