Goose poo Alley is a fond name for this short but challenging course, from lakes to tree lined parkland, it has a little for everyone. watch out for the geese it could get messy.

Overall good condition and shot my best ever round on this course , so it plays well for the player that does not hit more than 250 yards and are accurate when using the driver.

Nice public course in great surroundings
A nice public course in great surroundings. A very tight tree laden multi watered venue makes for a very testing game. Straight hitting is a must. The greens were very good and in great condition. Unfortunately not the same can be said for the tees and fairways, need a lot of work. No clubhouse but the staff were welcoming, but alas the same cannot be said for the staff at the adjoining Beefeater!! Not friendly at all, probably don't like golfers !! Good value for money, couldn't recommend, no wish to return.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.3)

The course was in poor condition and the layout was pretty awful with long walk between most tees. The front 9 was actually quite nice however, it had some interesting holes and featured water which always keeps you on your toes. The back 9 was a different storey unfortunately, with 4 par 3's and no par 5's it was just boring and not very funny.

For a public course it was ok. Greens were a bit rough.

Testing short course
Don't be put off by its short length. Its a difficult front 9 but a much easier back nine.Excellent experience even when played regularly!. Take plenty of balls....

Nice course, good value
Played 18/10/20, considering all the recent rain the course and especially the green were in very good condition. A short course, especially the back nine, but very tight in places. A nice walk round.Reviewer Rating

nice course
have played here a few time and this time was the worst for slow play they are restricting to 3 balls but seem to still be sending out ever 8 miin its not working a slow round is no fun(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 99 Handicap: 29.2)
