Good value and greens in excellent condition. Fairly short length can be deceptive as there are some very tightly laid out holes and good use of water hazards to add to the challenge. Overall a course that may be relatively easy for experienced golfers but provides enough of a challenge for high handicappers.

Lovely course, not very long but quite tight with plenty of water hazards so quite challenging. Twilight rates begin from 12pm so very affordable

This little course is one of my favourites. Quite tight so you need accuracy off the tees. Some of the tee boxes are not placed correctly and have a wicked slope, usually left to right. The course condition is very good.

varied and challenging short course, lots of par 3's, lots of trees and water too! so makes this a tricky but rewarding course.

Orton Meadows a gem in Peterborough
This is a membership club and a municipal course. It is maintained very well for such a course and at this time of year very challenging. Very scenic with lots of lakes and well established parklands. Have to keep on fairways or your score will go out of control which is why it is so challenging. Many different holes make an enjoyable afternoons golf.Reviewer Rating

Outstanding pay n play
Played there twice this month with my pals apart from having a cool round it's picture perfect. Nice woodland surroundings, practice net and putting green. There are water hazards tricky narrow tree line shots but good for your game. Overall I really enjoyed it, well kept beautiful place.Reviewer Rating

Great Value

A course of two different halves. The first 8 holes are quite long, and the next 9 are jammed into quite a small space meaning either par threes or short par fours, followed by a medium length final par four with a dogleg to the left.
We found the course in excellent condition, with the greens particularly good.
Playing during the week we only paid £17 each for the round. All in All good value for money.

The Greens as always to a very high standard particularly for a municipal course.
The fairways today were particularly hard which made the narrow fairways where water alongside very difficult.

very hard front 9, play straight else you will lose lots of balls. opens up nicely on the return.

All greens were in very good condition considering the amount of rain. An interesting back 9 quite short though. The 15th managed to play mind games once again.

Played the course early (for me) 0745 and it is in its very best condition. The variety of challenges on this course in mid to late summer either make you or break you. Has to be the better of the the two nene valley courses at this moment in time and in my opinion.
