Superb condition
Our society of 24 played last Friday and were delighted with both the condition of the course and the hospitallty recieved. Most courses in the surrounding area were closed or on temps but not here, all greens were open and in fantastic condition. Well done Ogbourne. "Post Beast from the East"
After the atrocious weather the golf course is in fantastic condition. Due to the refurbishment of the bunkers the remaining snow (in them) was not an issue. Greens in great nick...(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 13.6)

Great course in excellent nick

The course was fairly busy on a Wednesday, but I was able to get a game and scoot round in under three hours. The course was very green and the staff were busy cutting plenty of grass. The course is well shaped and you can identify the good and poor lines off the tee. The fairways have a nice layer of grass, the semi rough is not too punishing, however if you are wide the rough is penal. The greens were fairly big and rolled well. There are three strong par fives (the 14th is a good hole). The bunkers could do with some work as the ones I saw were a bit stoney. Also a few signs on the course would be helpful as a couple of holes were not obvious. It is a tough walking course and I saw many members using buggys. There is a good practice area to the other side of the clubhouse.

All Year Round Golf
Exceptionally well kept & manicured course...due to the hard work by all associated with Ogbourne Downs. It may not suit all golfers due to the hilly landscape, therefore not many level lies, but having played there for many years it makes you adapt your game accordingly. Great V.F.M......Recommended(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 12)

Excellent course
Considering the lack of rainfall recently the course was in exccellent shape and the green, although a bit brown in places were still very true.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: 23.4)

Considering recent weather the course was in very good condition, only problem being the greens which have suffered from recent rain and crows.
