Challenging links like course inland. With its undulating hills, this course challenges at almost every hole. Set around the Marlborough Downs, you?ll get some great views and plenty of wildlife, including numerous Red Kites and Buzzards. Permanent tees and greens all year round, no matter what the weather is. It?s excellently maintained and one of the best kept secrets around the county. You won?t be disappointed.
Better than ExpectedStarted playing here in May , very well laid out and challenging course that you think you should score better on and brings you back to try again. Greens and condition excellent
Covid RestrictedReview is for course only altho there is a takeaway coffee service within Covid restrictions.
More work has been carried out by the hardworking green staff during the shutdown
(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 13.4)
Great condition worth a visit
Even better "Post Lockdown"The work carried out by greenkeepers during the lockdown has seen Ogbourne Downs improve immensely. The newly defined fairways & greens approach enhance the features. Never get bored with playing this course as the weather conditions ensure each game is different.

Lovely viewsSome lovely holes and great views from the top of the downs. The greens have come on really well this year and are now very good.
Fantastic Condition and those views !Played here for the first time , and love it the views calm you down and the course is so interesting. Hats off to the green keeping staff for the condition when reopened it is amazing
Great Thursday afternoon roundGreat course, greens were brilliant and the pace of play was brilliant.... Could do with a buggy next time though lol
(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 13.1)
Superb conditionThe work that has been undertaken during lockdown and the guidance of a professional consultant has put the course into superb condition helped of course by fine weather. Despite considerable use with the easing of lockdown restrictions the course has never been better and is a treat to play.

(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 19.3)
SuperbThe course was in such good condition that we thought it had been prepared for an imminent competition. Not the case. Hats off to Cotswold Hills.
Great viewsA hilly and decent course with some great downhill holes, especially the par 5 valley hole. Spectacular views across the downs from the higher holes. Some of the greens are only 7/10 but that's just the nature of the ground the course is built on and they are open al year round.
My Local.....Very interesting for those playing it for the 1st time......hardly a flat lie to be had but once you`ve mastered the sloping fairways it`s enjoyable & challenging. All year round course, well maintained by hard working green staff, friendly welcome...
Really Lovely CoursePlayed with a group of ladies today, beautiful sunshine the course was in good condition not held up at all
(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 113 Handicap: 36.5)
HillyWell kept course and it drains well. Hilly and most fairways incline to one side, so if not accurate then playing uphill all the way. Clubhouse good and food lovely.
(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 112 Handicap: 22.5)
All Year Round GolfHilly and quick draining course makes for all year round golf. The staff are all extremely friendly and work exceedingly hard to maintain the high standard. Recommended....VFM...
