What the club says: The well-designed championship-standard par-71 18-hole course features water hazards and provides a challenge for all standards of golfer - from beginners to international-standard players. Off the white tees, the superb parkland 18 hole course offers a challenging round of golf, especially down the final stretch with its tough 6 finishing holes.

In addition, there is a great 9 hole course, a two-tiered driving range, Howeller's Café and American Golf Shop.

Ladies Society Visit

Played with a group of 6 ladies and yave visited before for matches. I was shocked at the condition of the greens - over-treated apparently and have dead/burnt areas on them. This is a shame as, overall the course is pleasant and not too taxing. I am 25hcap and scored 42pts that day.
The only real gripe I have is that there are NO tee numbers or yardage and no signage to guide players round. Ok if you know the layout but good luck if you are visiting!!

A good municipal course for the average golfer, well maintained with plenty of hazards to consider. Greens are kept in good conditions fair and receptive

First time playing here, driving range and practice areas fair, very pleasant lady greeted us when we arrived and talked us through the course card, practice green is in excellent condition, fast and true, but the greens on the course are no where near the same quality, slow and patchy. direction to the next tee are very poor, could definitely do with some signage around the greens. fairways quite wide and rough is enough to give you some trouble finding your ball if you do slip off the fairway. we was a 4 ball and had 3 individuals playing on their own behind us, which we let through one at a time, making our round longer than need be, nearly 5 hours. All in all not bad just needs some extra care around the greens and at least making players team up so we all play at the same pace.

Played today, course in good condition apart from a few tees. Really enjoyed the variety of the holes and the greens were spot on for speed. The cafe was unfortunately without a chef :-(

Excellent 9 holes, quite well maintained during winter, and a good level for beginner golfers. Nothing too far, but not short pitch and putt holes only. Good variety

A hastily arranged round, it was great to play it again, superb condition, should have been a much better score than it was. Loved getting out there again. Shame people don't rake the bunkers and repair pitchforks. Poor etiquette from some
