new groundwork taking place on 2rd and 3rd holes which looks very untidy but the course is a good round of golf if a bit wet at times

Not great

Course in quite poor condition. Fairways are pretty much the same length of grass as the rough next to it. Greens going bald in places. I appreciate the course is surrounded by public pathways but as I went to tee off on the 15th a local youth was sat on the floor with a bike and some form of alcohol right in the middle of the fairway and refused to move.

Keep away

Council recently took over course is improving and time is required to get the course up to standard fairways were good but tee boxes and greens are a long way from being up to standard £15charged not expensive but course not worth that

all I can say is the course was in bad shape,the greens had been sliced not plugged, the fairways were uncut and full of leaves, this you expect this time of year but not the quantities we experienced.we had to ask twice which way to go, bad course markings terrible tee boxes, few litter bins and not one ball cleaner I have played some bad courses but this one is the worst and as such we will not be visiting again.

This course though nice and flat and easy to walk seems very badly signposted and someone that knows there way is essential. The greens are terrible and badly dried out and cracked. Old holes are not filled correctly and large patches are bare soil. I suggest going to Bulwell Forest Golf Course only a mile away. A very good course that is short but challenging. Very good value for money also.

Do not play this course! It's being used for landfill. Temporary tees. Uncared for rough and fairways. Lorries driving around the course, piles of mud alongside many fairways, greens atrocious with deep cracks.

Last time I played here a small amount of landfill was being carried out down the side of two fairways. The noise and sight of lorries, diggers and excavators are seemingly all around the course now with mounds of earth practically on every hole.
The greens are disgraceful, the fairways are not cut, tee boxes all look temporary and the flag pins are 15mm white water flow piping.
We paid £4.50 on-line and I was tempted to ask for my money back!

Clearly a problem with lack of water, but the greens are virtually burnt and ruined, even at £10 the price is too expensive

taken over yet again and wrecked greens really poor and headges ripped out and not to mention the massive price hike sice last year. RIP OFF NOT THE ONE FOR ME, try ormande fields £13 a round and a cracking course this will get much more of my custom from now on. thank you, disgusted.
