Played in Rabbits and Tigers. I get annoyed when Rabbits which is 16 - 28 are told they need to play off 3/4s of 24 which is 18. That means we lose 10 shots yet a Tiger off 4 only loses 1 shot or a Rabbit off 16 only loses 4 shots - it hardly seems fair. Rant over.
Competition was very well organised with over 200 competitors.Course was in great condition although I personally thought the greens were in need of a trim as they ran slowly. They were also a little untrue around the cups ion one or two holes.
Water is a challenge on some holes and there are some good risk and rewardholes.

well maintained track with plenty of good golf to be taken course in good nick for the time of year will play again this season .....

Great course and I can imagine it will be spectacular in the summer. Had to play off mats EVERYWHERE (not just fairways) which was a bit of a let down. Will definitely return though,

Definitely one to play the PGA seem to agree.17 April 2014

This course has now matured over the past few years to become the outstanding course in the area, this coupled with a warm welcome in the club house by the professional unit of Mike and Jen the stewards and stewardess and there staff.
Couple all this with the BRS online booking service and menu pricing providing comprehensive and highly competitive packages, this is the place to play and take your society or away day or just pay and play
As a final endorsement for the course and club the norther qualifier for the PGA has now been held there for the past 3 years, enough said.
