The course at Nizels is very good and a good challenge for all handicaps. Unfortunately the club is run by non-golfers so definitely play the course but DO NOT become a full-time member - masses of societies and events and no control over no-shows means you will not be able to play!

A challenging, and somewhat intimidating course, which is well maintained and enjoys beautiful views.
Can get very wet in the Winter. Club facilities are good but they seem understaffed in the catering dept which can be annoying when you have to rush food to meet a t-time.

Missing greens

Whilst the course in general was suffering from the continuing dry / heat spell of this summer the greens were in excellent condition.

A Strong Variety & Great Views
As a fan of James Braid im nit naturally drawn to more recently designed courses but I was rather taken with this one although I know my limitations so wont be attempting it in winter because its long. However at thus tine its excellent & provides opportunities for high scoring with wide fairways large flattish greens & very visible hazards where to avoid. I enjoyed the variety of holes too & the lushness of the fairways.Reviewer Rating

Wide variety of holes
Very welcoming venue with nice clubhouse. Fun course to play with a wide variety of holes and lots of water hazards. Beautiful backdrop to course , very scenic.Reviewer Rating

Welcoming and fun
We are newcomers to golf and have been playing several courses in West Kent. As existing health club members it has taken us too long to give the golf course a go. We found it interesting, challenging, and in good condition. Really nice to have facilities and a halfway house at holes 1&10. We also met a very helpful Marshall who popped up in various places to check we were ok. Course is having some work done - new bunkers and drainage which I understand is needed so is only a good thing for the future, but meant that one hole currently closed, and two holes with temporary greens. Fee discounted to reflect that. Nice lunch in bar after.Reviewer Rating

Near me
I play Nizels quite often, always in good condition, quite hilly, I played my best round here earlier this year, my only complaint is that the 1st and 10th tees are next to each other some times making the back nine very slow when players but into your round on the 10th ( really annoying)Reviewer Rating

Well worth the money as a visitor
The course has a lot of variation in terms of hole layout with some very interesting and testing greens. The club were also very welcoming and friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17.4)

Hadn't played here for a while. Course played well despite prior rain. Windy day which made it tough in places. Decent food in the clubhouse post round. Well worth playing.
