Rough makes it a tight course, greens sanded for Junior competition in a fortnights time so difficult, but really good holes to play, all varied.

My first time at this course and found it to be very friendly and in perfect condition - the course lay out was very challenging and the greens were superb, very true. A real pleasure to have played the course and I will definitely be back to play again.

It was my first ever visit ti Nizels Golf club and i must say what a cracking little course it is. with a great mix of trees, water and bunkers to challange golfers of all handicaps.. great day looking forward to playing there again.

Lovely course, great fairways and greens. Not long but challenging, need to be in position at all times and lots of water. Will definitely be going back soon

One of my favourite courses, it's pretty, challenging and offers loads of variation in holes. Was in excellent condition given recent weather, greens were running remarkably well.

Despite living less than 5 minutes from Nizels I finally played there yesterday with big expectations. Apart from being behind a VERY slow society the course lived up to expectations.
This course isn't a "bangers" course, you really need to place your tee shots and be confident with your distances due to tight fairways and water hazards.
We played shortly after the Junion masters so the rough was very long, if it went in it wasn't even worth looking for it...which definitely concentrated the mind.
The greens were lightning fast but very true. Unlike my usual game I made a number of 5-6ft putts as the greens allowed you to.
The clubhouse and food was also top notch - if only the annual fee was a little lower I'd definitely join.

As with all the club company courses a warm welcome and excellant facilities. The real standout however is the course. In perfect condition throughout each hole offers something new and challenging without being too harsh. Water is in play a lot of the time and these holes are perhaps the most interesting but there is also plenty of uphill. downhill and wooded holes to. It really does seem to tick all the boxes. Can't wait to get back and play it better now, thanks to the locals I played with, I know my way around.

We played on 01/12/2009. From the moment we walked into the place the staff were very helpful and friendly, they also allowed us to take advantage of a deal that is normally open to a minimum of 8 players, although there were only 3 of us - £21 for 1 round including breakfast. What value! Considering the amount of rain that had fallen, meaning the course was closed the day before, the greens were perfect, almost dry as a bone. Enjoyed the day immensely, shame I played like a drain!!
