morley!!
marvellous course maturing well... greens are getting quicker and better, the course layout is tough but fair, errant tee shots will see you hitting double bogey but stay straight and you're always in with a birdie shout(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 15.8)

Good condition

A great course in great condition, speed of play excellent as only two balls allowed, shame we could not have a drink afterwards.

Hot Deal Tee timeGreat Value
18 holes 18th greens open 1 temporary tee. Given the recent weather that is a great achievement. buggies on front nine paths only but trollies OK throughout. Some areas of boggy ground and a couple of lost balls on the fairway due to it being saturated. Amazing Value for ?10 each. No hot water in changing rooms,(now resolved) greens understably bobbly but still a very enjoyable experience. ?10 for a past Euro Pro Tv venue. Great Value.Reviewer Rating

Decent public track with variety
Tough time of year so unfair to be too harsh at present given most courses are currently closed or only partially open (Feb/Mar 2020).Course is great value and a decent enough course with variety but there are better courses within the area depending on what you are looking for. Greens were in decent conditions and as mentioned for winter golf it is nice to play off proper tees and without fairway mats. If you are looking for a course fully open definitely worth playing but you will get muddy but that shouldn't be for long and then course will be much more favourable to play come Spring.
In terms of an all round venue then you will struggle to find better with the range, 9 hole course, 18 hole manor course as well as the food and dining facilities available. The cakes on sale within the driving range cafe are the best I've ever had ! Definitely worth a visit and a fantastic venue if you are looking for a society venue due to the facilities available and course layout which provides some social opportunities on course without holes cross over each other.

Shouldnt be open
Fell sorry for people paying ?30, its basically a bog. Greens are shocking even for this time of year. Pitch marks not repaired and foot prints everywhere. Literally unputtable. Balls plugging in fairways. Course should be closed.Reviewer Rating
