Good greens

Course in good condition after heavy rain for a couple of days.Started at 7-30am and had a leisurely round.really enjoyed the features and excellent greens.

Darrington golf club

went on a golf society day ?34 for golf with coffee and bacon sandwich and teed off at midday . before you book have a look at website as a game of golf from midday is only ?20 and coffee and bacon add upto ?5 even with my limited maths is only ?25 so if your a society with 18 members playing they add an extra ?9 on price . wouldn't mind but we all stay in 19th for a couple after game

great course

lovely course with some challenging holes fairways are a little thin in places but otherwise excellent.
the recent decision to cut down rough has made this an excellent intermediate course.

What was already a good course, is fast becoming a great course. The improvements that have been made over the winter have really lifted the place up a level.

Best greens in the area. Can't wait to play it in the summer.

Fantastic course

The staff were excellent from the enquiry and booking, right through to meeting us on the day.
It was in fabulous condition for the time of year and the greens were superb. Can't wait to play it in the summer.

The course was very busy with the car park full. Later told they had an overflow across the road. Over 12 months since we played here and they have extended two holes off the yellows. The greens were in great condition and it was an enjoyable round of golf.

Very Enjoyable

After a poor year weather-wise with the silly long, cold and wet winter followed almost immediately by crazily unseasonable warm into hot weather the golf course here was at, that point, holding up nicely.

Love it more and more

Been a member here for just shy of a year - amazing family package. This is the friendliest club I've ever known - no airs and graces - simply good folk who love good golf.

Proud to be a Rabbits Vice Capt at this great club - when the course is good it's very very good.

Great facilities and good potential

This course has some really interesting holes and with a bit more care and attention to detail on green keeping, this could compete with the other local courses which do better in this area. Yellow tees make the course playable, white tees mean its a real stretch for some. Facilities are second to none locally, but the quality of the greens, tee boxes and too much GUR made it a bit disappointing on the day. Maybe the course needs better protection in the winter months.

Cracking course to call 'Home'

Cracking course to call 'home' - Family membership is an absolute steal at £1200 pa for me, my wife and the two step-kids. Course is still on full tees and greens as it stands and trolleys are allowed with winter wheels. Problem for non-members over the weekends is that our members are booked up from earliest light to 4 hours prior to sunset - so there's not much chance of getting a full 18 holes in after the membership have finished. The more I play here the more I love it!

lost horrizon

Never new this course was even there, I've driven down the A1 for years and never noticed it, now we've found it I look forward to playing again a little confusing at first, the course is on one side of the road club house on the other.
