What the club says: Nestled amongst an attractive blend of mature trees, gently rolling fairways and lakes, MYGC opened in 1993. Steve Marnoch who designed the course saw the potential of this beautiful site and its unique location being a short 'drive' from Leeds, Wakefield and Pontefract. We offer you a warm welcome to our private Club at just over 6300 yards, which provides an excellent and enjoyable test of golf whether you are an experienced golfer or a relative newcomer to the sport.
Society packages available, best offers guaranteed in the area. 7 Days a week
New to 2016 - 23 Bay driving range, driving range membership available, Mike Walker has 2 private tuition bays based at our site.

Members competition, 3 and 4 balls, very slow play round took over 4 hours for our 2 ball.
Check your price it appears cheaper on their web site than in the pro-shop.
Too much grass on the greens made them slow. Disappointing on this visit.

Course in good condition after heavy rain, good greens, no mats or temporary greens.
Food available in the 19th since our last visit in May. Refused to charge us winter rates in pro shop, web site needs amending or we were shafted.

Great afternoon course in great condition
Course set up for club championship so pins very tricky. Course very good and only really spoilt by the bunkers otherwise it would have been excellent. Also helped by great weather ??????????(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 97 Handicap: 22.3)

The course had suffered with the warm weather, several bare patches. Bunkers were un kept since the lockdown grass allowed to grow over them. Enjoyed the round as always but needs some work on several holes to bring back previos standards here,

Great course just off of the A1
The course itself is well laid out, it's a shame it's away from the clubhouse. Some really good holes in there, greens are firm and fairways well drained. Nice full length driving range and a putting green.Reviewer Rating
