Getting better
Course is drying out now after the abysmally wet winter. Wettest on the holes around the clubhouse (1st, 9th & 18th) Some of the rough on these holes is still a little boggy, I suppose that's expected on such a flat layout however keep the ball relatively straight and you won't have that problem. Rest of the course is great and some improvements to the course are still being made. Recommended.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
Fairways are in superb condition as are the greens. Lot of work been done adding mounds to what used to be a very flat course. Bunkers could have done with more sand but otherwise a really enjoyable roundReviewer Rating

brilliant course

unrecognisable from 10-15 years ago. thayve shifted a lot of land recently and its created a much better more interesting course. tees and fairways in superb condition, greens and bunkers need some TLC.

Yes, the course was a little wet, but that is to be expected after three weeks of terrible rain. Considering the recent weather it was in good condition and is a fairly interesting course with a variety of holes. The greens ran true despite being spiked and there were two temporary greens (5th and 14th I think) but, like I say, you really can't complain about that after the weather over the last few weeks. You can tell when walking round that a lot of work has been undertaken recently and there is still some work taking place and I imagine when it has been completed it'll be good little course. A lot of land has been shifted to make a number of the holes hidden from the rest and gives you the feel of isolation from the rest of the course. Worth a visit, i'll definitely be back when it is drier later on this year.

Good conditions, very dry, still working on the improvements so a couple of holes are shorter than on the card.
Great value at ?15 and the best bacon bap ever.
Have played several times over the past three years. Can be very wet.

This course continues to improve as the extensive work continues and matures with new banks and ponds are added. The greens were excellent.

The course is having a lot of work done to improve it, but it in no way detracts from the overall enjoyment of the place. The clubhouse looks like an American lodge, a good size, with excellent facilities and staff. The pro shop is a no frills portakabin but it does the job. The weather had been very wet for a while but the course has good drainage and still played well. Highly recommended.

For a course being renovated it is in good condition the greens are consistant and the fairways roll well ...i will play again
