Went to the pro shop to let them know that we were there my friend was to pay. He called out to me and said did you pay and I said yes ?78 the guy in the shop came out and said no when you book the money doesn't come out of your account so you haven't paid.
We then had to paid for the round of golf ?78, when I got home I checked my bank and the money had been taken out, I then tried call the pro shop and on the 10th time the phone was answered I explained what had gone on and the guy said yes know I was the man in the shop now what to do now I need to talk to my manager can I call you back, I asked when will this be he said that afternoon.
He did call and said you can have a free game but in fact it's not a free game it's the game I paid for.

Course was in ok condition having been closed for previous 2 days. There was a trolley ban in place on the day but they did hand out carry bags for free for players to use. It was a bit boggy in places with footprints visible on the greens from the earlier groups.

good surprise for a hotel course.
Well kept course. Greens are true and quick. course pathways well maintained.must keep the ball in tight fairways.

The fairways are in poor condition, and the rough has not been cut back, greens need attention, and the holes need work.

Needs TLC
It's good to see courses are open. Tudor Park is normally a wonderful setting but post crisis the whole place is in desperate need of TLC. The fairways are in a shocking state; there is little definition to the first cut; the greens need mowing and ironing; and the general feel is of tiredness. It's a real shame and can only hope that more time is spent on the course by the greenkeepers after furlough to improve the place.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 12.1)

Good course although not the longest
Played a couple of times post lockdown. Greens in good condition.A couple of the fairways-particularly the 11th and to a lesser extent the 12th are patchy. Good variety of holes with the Par 5 14th particularly challenging.Always get a warm welcome.Reviewer Rating
