Lovely course but poor hospitality
Played the Priory Course, not too long which I like as a higher handicap, some very interesting holes. Only let down was the shocking lack of service afterwords when we tried to get a drink, we left after a 30 minute wait!Reviewer Rating

Don’t bother in the Winter if you want to play 18 holes. Never been told before to not take any shots on the fairway & to use a Mat! Not that they have any Mats to supply either...who takes a Mat to golf??...but they don’t tell you any of this until you actually get there & no offer of a reduction in price. Shame really as the course (Moorland) was in really good condition.

Get a buggy
An excellent but hilly course, so for me a buggy was essential. Really enjoyed the Priory course. Fabulous views from elevated tees with sloping fairways on the majority of holes. Helpful pro shop staff and COVID precautions clearly in place. The only negative for me was the battery life of the buggies. I played two rounds over two days and on both occasions the buggy was running out of power by the 16th hole - worrying to say the least.Reviewer Rating

Really enjoyed the golf the buggies were an outrageous price because we had a four ball so had to have four buggies solos they should give two for one which didn't happen.overhall excellent course price lets it down,won't go again.

good course worth a visit
Lovely course, tough terrain as there are a lot of hills but, great to play. Unfortunately at present the facilities are limited so, you are waiting a long time for food and drink to be served and the area for golfers is closed completely so you all have to gather in the hotel.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 107 Handicap: 27.9)

On a very warm afternoon played the priory course. For £25 after 14:00, its a good price. Course was very well kept. Felt a bit vulnerable on the 8th playing around the driving range but apart from that excellent layout. Would recommended buggies if possible as the course is demanding for walkers.
