Hilly in parts
Two distinct 18 hole courses, Moorland is much less hilly, but more exposed to the elements. Wonderful views over the power stations of Derbyshire, and (joking apart) the lovely wide-open country around. Challenging courses but very enjoyable, and superb hospitality from the members.

Gents Open 2019 Day
First Day of 2019 Golf - not a bad start to the new season. Lots of improvement needed and need to get rid of the rust.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 11.3)

On arrival you are provided with a code to the changing rooms which are free of use, which have a very Spa and luxury feel to them, with free lockers which is handy to store all your items you do not want to take on the course.
The Course itself is in immaculate condition with tee boxes with ball cleaners, great info on yardage and generally taken care of very very well.
All the little things are done to perfection here which is great to see, the only slight downside i would say is that it isnt cheap, especially the buggy's which are very expensive at £30 in comparison to £15 most places.
Overall you do pay for quality and its well worth a day out.

Awesome

Get a buggy
An excellent but hilly course, so for me a buggy was essential. Really enjoyed the Priory course. Fabulous views from elevated tees with sloping fairways on the majority of holes. Helpful pro shop staff and COVID precautions clearly in place. The only negative for me was the battery life of the buggies. I played two rounds over two days and on both occasions the buggy was running out of power by the 16th hole - worrying to say the least.
