Great Course
Good test of golf, well presented and real variety of holes.Had our Captains away day here and the staff and food were excellent too.
Rough was enough to present a challenge but able to find a ball and play it out
Very highly recommended

Great heathland course
Arguably the best course in Leicestershire, some stunning views, and in great condition for October. A tough challenge if not playing well as front 9 has some tight drives, there's a couple of lovely par 3s and some interesting short par 4s on the back 9. First time I've played here and would definitely recommend it.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 11.4)

Great course
really enjoyable course - tight off the tee so hitting fairways is going make a huge difference to your score, decent greens, some very tough par 4s!(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.2)

Play here every couple of years in same group event. Cracking course in great condition. Long if you don't hit it that far but still playable if you're straight. Nice variety as you go round though the front 9 especially will often leave you with a sideways lie of some description and it pays to draw the ball in most places if you can. Clubhouse and pro shop are both very welcoming. Look forward to heading back in 2 years time.

A real gem!
A great course, great value for money. Pro Shop staff really helpful; felt very welcomed. Food was very good too; good prices. Front 9 enjoyably challenging. Greens were deceptive!Will definitely return when it’s warmer..

Excellent , well worth a visit
Fast greens and firm but receptive fairways even in February , an interesting mix of holes .Will be back to play again in the Summer .

Excellent
Great course in good nick. Always something going on which keeps you entertained throughout. Mix of park and heathland but pretty fair. Greens were nice. Look forward to playing again in the future. Helpful in the pro-shop when I was buying a new bag after my current one broke...(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.9)

Golf day for bibbys financial. excellent day, very hot, course in great shape and facilities very good. Food was just what you need after a long day on the course.

Pleasure to play here. What a fantastic course. Had a fair bit of rain on the day and the couple of days before but you would have guessed it by the condition of the course. Fast true receptive greens. A great mixture of long and short hole and it's not a course for someone who wants to hit driver on every hole.
I couldn't find a fault. Would love to play again. All for 20 quid on twilight.

Wonderful course through heather and gorse, with splendid views. Every hole presents a different challenge . The par 3's are exceptional. The quality of the course makes you wonder why it is not better known. It deserves to be. Nice clubhouse and pleasant staff.

part of a trio of great leicestershire courses, probably edges the other two as the best of the county. excellent. the down hill par 5 is great fun

One of the best courses I've ever played and for £20! Greens were in immaculate shape, so to were the fairways and tees. The course is challenging, but also very fun with many birdie opportunities. Definitely recommend to anyone.
