What the club says: Longcliffe Golf Club has one of the best golf courses in Leicestershire. Set on the lower slopes of the ancient Charnwood Forest, it is a challenging tree lined course. Each hole presents a different challenge during the round.

Fast greens and firm but receptive fairways even in February , an interesting mix of holes .Will be back to play again in the Summer .

Great course in good nick. Always something going on which keeps you entertained throughout. Mix of park and heathland but pretty fair. Greens were nice. Look forward to playing again in the future. Really well looked after golf course. As it hosts the Euro Pro Tour event you'd expect it to be!Some real quirky fun holes and some amazing views during the middle of the round.
Greens and fairways were in great condition.
The wind can pick up and bite which can pose a test.
Its not the tightest of courses so will be a nice and enjoyable round for any golfer of any ability.

Several long par 4's which made it difficult to score well but overall a fair test. Many fairways slope left to right so useful to hit a draw if you can. Greens have several slopes and undulations and are relatively rapid. Long walking course but they seem to have plenty of buggies for those that want them.

Had a fair bit of rain on the day and the couple of days before but you would have guessed it by the condition of the course. Fast true receptive greens. A great mixture of long and short hole and it's not a course for someone who wants to hit driver on every hole.
I couldn't find a fault. Would love to play again. All for 20 quid on twilight.

The quality of the course makes you wonder why it is not better known. It deserves to be. Nice clubhouse and pleasant staff.
