What the club says: The course was designed in 1966 by course architect David Tucker and was described by Tony Jacklin during a visit in 1989 as having 'probably the toughest opening three holes in the Midlands'. The greens have been built to USGA specifications and the course is complimented by a clubhouse and professional shop which provides the finest of facilities.

Great layoutBooked on the lingdale website for a Monday afternoon 13:33 tee off and was ?19 each. The course was in great condition even though we had had a very wet weekend. Greens were great, slightly slower than we were used to but I think this was due to the rain.
Friendly welcome in the pro shop on arrival. The course was quiet. Quite a variety of holes and a lovely downhill par 3 to finish. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive from Coventry to visit
Very tricky and hillyA lovely setting of a course, tricky in places with lots of established trees. Some water hazards and ditches with very well placed bunkers make this a course to really think your way around. We unfortunately played after a spell of a couple of days of heavy rain so didn't see the course at its best but the greens were good and true as were the tees we were on but the fairways and in between were a little weather battered. On the day we played there was a very slow ladies competition being played in front of us which turned us into an over 5 hour round, which did take the shine off the whole event for us.

Society dayLovely course, different but really good place! Nice people too!
The greens were extremely true and very fast, takes a bit of getting used to! 9th hole is really interesting, take the short cut over the trees or hit 2 x 200 yard plus shots to get to the front of the green!

Decent CourseInteresting course i'm sure would be great in the summer months, a bit wet under foot when i played.

A course for all handicapsMy son has only just taken up golf, I play off 14. We had an afternoon round in windy conditions but at no stage did I feel the course was overwhelming for him......or for that matter me! Nice mix of long par 4\'s, good testing par 3\'s but with more width on the drives than is apparent from the website.\Greens in very good condition, receptive but fairly quick. The putt ran true.....where you hit it.\\Nice bar and patio area made for an enjoyable round. And very good value. I would be very happy to play here again.
Totally bang on challenging & thinkg golfers courseCould say a bad thing about this course... food good... shop good plus had a sale on... course difficult but rewrdingnin places... couldnt understand why 15th ws on temp green and 16th closed as theysaid they were working on bunkers but like the councils no one was there... other than that.. go give a it a try..
