Lovely course. Beautiful surroundings with trees that were mature and growing in places that would challenge the wayward drive. Disappointed however with the lack of guidance on our visit for a fun mixed Texas Scamble. No starter, professional could have been a little more helpful...had no idea where to go when in the club house which is an old building and rather rambling in layout. We were reminded of the Marie Celeste as there was nobody about to greet or help us. Lunchtime was akward as my friends ordered and were forgotten about, Ours arrived promptly. Reminded staff and still no food arrived. An hour later they requested their money back. An uncomfortable stand-off ensued as they refused! Thank goodness for the catering manager who appeared and apologised. In summation, the course was a delight and well worth a visit but the lack of organisers to help and greet you was disappointing.

Course in great condition and well looked after even though greens had been sanded. Played in high winds which made some of the holes much longer would like to return in summer. Clubhouse was closed at 6pm when a post mortem over a pint would have been much appreciated

In good condition. Quite flat with not a lot of trees, but layout still makes it challenging.

The course has a great mix of holes. the par 3s are as good a mix as youll play on a parkland course. Not long but a hard course to score well on. The members here earn their handicaps

The course is fairly short off the yellow tees at only 5633yds, it's still a tough course however and you definitely need to plot your way around the course.

Very nice course. Good greens made better by excellent weather. Very friendly staff and members. Course a good test with road, railway and several nice house dotted about. Will play again before nights start drawing in.

A fairly short course which is in good condition. Unfortunately there has been a lot of rain in the area lately so the course was very wet. Pools of water on the fairways and greens etc. but still a very enjoyable round. Nice clubhouse and the staff very friendly.
