Nice course
Nice course, greens in good condition but a little slow. The course is well layed out but theere was some damp parts where it was a little boggy.

Forget the Races
People thnink of a day at the races when you think of Haydock. This course is often overlooked when chosing to play in the North West. Think again, give it a go. Its easy walking, some congestion on busier days around hole 2, but after that you're off and running!

This was my first 18 holes for just over 15 years. So having had 6 or 7 visits to a driving range in the 3 weeks coming up to this, I was quite chuffed with the 95 which contained 3 x 7s!!

The course looked well looked after. It is a parkland course and yes there are lots of tree lined fairways. After a long dry spell the greens were a little gritty but consistent. Maybe a little steep at £30 but I would recommend it especially for societies who may get slightly better deals.

Haydock recently hosted our annual golf day (for 44 people) and once again the day passed off without a hitch. The course was in excellent condition and received rave reviews from our guests. Afterwards the food was both tasty and plentiful and the service we received throughout the day was exemplary. Thank you once again and I look forward to you hosting us again in 2017.

A quality set up. A little busy but that's too be expected on the hottest day of the year so far. Tight tree lined fairways, you have to plot your way round. The greens had been watered so they played fast and true. Members were friendly and it was quite easy to follow the course layout. The clubhouse was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will be back.

A very enjoyable course, the weather no doubt helped (22 degrees C) and the course was in good condition. There are some interesting holes, some tees are closely positioned to greens, which for the novice could be daunting.

Only downpoint was in relation to some of the bunkers, most had poor sand content and others are obviously impossible to play out of unless you compete at the Masters.
