Played here Friday 27 august 2021 as part 1 of our 3 day trip.WOW. What a brilliant place to play.
Extremely welcoming pro, full of inside knowledge and tips, very friendly guy. The course was simply pristine. Beautifully manicured fairways and unbelievable greens that you could get much reward for a well struck shot. Nice to watch a ball land and stop in the heat. Even ripped a couple back!!!!!
Play this place. It’s a fantastic day. Some say the best in wales, as I haven’t played them all I can’t comment on that but they gotta go some to beat this track. See you next year!!

But as it was summer there were not really any temp greens marked out on a lot of holes, so the flags were mostly on a flat bit of ground near ish to the the green. In some cases you were putting over pitch marks and putting was just a joke.
Anyway I carried on until I got to the 15th I think. I then followed a sign down a path to find the 16th tee, but after 5 mins of walking I found myself near the clubhouse. So I saw that as a sign, and as I was saturated I thought sod this for a game of soldiers and gave up.
In the pro shop afterwards the pro did offer me a discount on a further round that week, but that was not much use as I was on a family holiday there so did not want to spend another day away from the family.
It's a lovely course, great views and the 3 green I played on were excellent. But being charged full whack to play on temp greens that were not even temp greens in some cases, did not seem the best value for money. Even offering me a free pint would have helped.
I'd love to play it again without the rain, but I ended up spending quite a bit of money (I also bought a rain hat, hired a trolley and had a meal/beer in the bar) for a relatively poor golf experience.

A stunning course with stunning views - no wonder its the Pebble Beach of Wales and Winner of Welsh Club of the Decade. Some spectacular holes on the water side of the course and the course was in amazing condition. Very friendly staff and Pro - pro shop guys were super friendly and helpful and the Marshall was always to be seen with a big old grin on his face, popping up round the course at various times. Pace of play was pretty good considering how busy it was.Reviewer Rating

Played the course last week. First four holes are a bit hit and miss, still great views. From five on wards its great and we played off the winter tees it would be a tough old knock at its full length.Fantastic bacon butty. Get a chance play this course.Reviewer Rating

A course with fantastic coastal views at the gateway of the Gower Peninsula. Tight fairways and small greens well protected by bunkers. Bring your accurate game otherwise you will be in trouble. Course management is vital here. The views are in a class of their own

The course was nice though and the views are outstanding. The pro in the shop was young and real friendly. Great value for money too at just £25 pp with a county card.
