Great Course
One of the best courses in Hertfordshire. Course in excellent nick & very picturesque.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 110 Handicap: 22.6)

Fantastic course
The course was a delight to play and the best condition I've played in with the heatwave still at a high. The greens were superb which allowed you to fly the ball in and stop the ball all the while keeping up with a good paced green throughput each hole.Reviewer Rating

The course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Some new greens installed - great job - very true and playable.

Lovely facilities and clubhouse, great verandah looking down at several tees and greens. Plenty of variety in the holes, nice old fashioned set up will get to use most of your bag on the way round. Condition very good everywhere, better than some big name courses I have played recently, greens a solid 8.5 on the stimp midweek. Very friendly pro shop especially
It is a fairly tough walk, and a little noisy as others have said.
Would have to strongly disagree with the rating on here. Played it last year and enjoyed it then as well, it's a top 10 Herts course all day long.

We attend each year about the end of April or early May and never come away disappointed. Staff and facilities second to none! We return again in September by request of the majority who attended today :-)

early greens scarified but reasonable pace if a little bumpy, back 9 greens very good.

I\'m 13, I\'m a member, i play of 19.6, and although there is work on the greens to make them better, I still think the course is great, with good chances for birdies and pars, but also an easy course to make mistakes, very hilly course, and straight drives are more important than long usually, also junior members fee is very good value!
