Even through the course is in really good condition there are other factors that bring this club down.
We turned up with aa 3-ball with a 8:50am tee off. In front of us was a 4-ball, all members, then a 13 year old who plays off 14 handicap, and the 4 ball didn’t let him tee off first and also said that he wasn’t allowed to play through. Stubborn members being ridiculous. He joined our 3 to make a 4 and the round itself took forever. The rate at which these people where playing can be described as bloody slow
The course itself is in really good condition, but the greens are too small, and if you’ve never played it before, be prepared to play with no yard markers and some greens hidden away so you are playing a blind shot.
A lot of the holes overlap so you have to wait for people to tee off or for people to putt which adds more slow play.
Lastly, and this was the worst thing about the experience, we stood at the 10th with a drivable 260 par 4 in fron of us.
Myself and y friends we talking waiting for them to move from the green, when from our amazement, this 12 year old has only tee-dd off with his 5 wood and nailed one straight through the green, whizzing past this guys head.
As we walked down the guy approached the kid, screamed at him for what he did. I understand his anger but the boy was 13 years old. Before I could even intervene I was told to “shut my F**cking mouth” and “I expect this kind of thing from these clowns”. Later on in the round I received an apology but it had totally ruined the day.
Even though I played pretty well I didn’t enjoy my time spent here and I don’t think you will either

Even before you get to the course you have to go over a bridge and cross the A406 but what greets you the other side is like something from a different world.
Surrounded by the motorway and tall buildings you'll soon forget about whats around you and concentrate on what is a small, compact but wonderful test of golf.
Small greens, tight fairways lay ahead with short par 4's making you want to give it a bash but beware the bunkers and long rough, anything not straight will get punished.
The greens themselves are in great condition too. Seem to be well looked after.
In places it may be difficult to find your way around from green to tee and 2 or 3 holes have blind shots, either off the tee or onto the green, but id love to go back at some point and give it another crack.
All in all a good day out.
