Excellent course

First society game of the season.
It was wet when we played but the course was fantastic yes very wet in some places but with the weather we had it was to be expected greens where spot on can't wait to play it later in the year when it's dry. Great course, great price and great staff one of my favourite courses.Reviewer Rating

Really enjoyable round and a hell of a walk. Recommend a buggy for this one!!
Course in excellent condition for this time of year and will certainly play again. No boring holes and the views are stunning from the highest points of the course

Hidden Gem
What a great course the views and greens were outstanding, the course is a credit to the ground staff. A course that would be good for all abilities, the staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.5)

Great course
Played houghwood it was wet n windy. The rain got torrential the course was still playable but not enjoyable .Called it a day after 7 holes. Called in pro shop to hand in buggy key, the pro gave us a voucher for a free round. GREAT. He didn't have to and most courses wouldnt. Thank you.it's a great course with lots of varying holes and great views. A buggy is recommended . Well worth a visitReviewer Rating

Physically tough course if walking
A fabulous and challenging course but very physically demanding due to the hilly nature of the course. Would recommend hiring a buggy. Greens were a little slow but possible just needed a cut, otherwise in top top condition all round.Reviewer Rating

The course was in excellent condition, greens were fast and true. We had buggies which I'd recommend unless your a mountain goat! Top top course

Not a bad word to say about the course. Green keepers need a pat on the back because the whole course is always in terrific nick! Great value for money ????

Despite the heavy rain the day before the course was in great condition - some bunkers where out of play but again this is because of the rain.
