Great course in wonderful surroundings
Greens,fairways and tee boxes all in excellent condition, good variation in holes and a wonderful location. Strong walk us oldies used a buggy, and overall facilities were very goodReviewer Rating

Fantastic
A great golf course, with excellent greens for the time of the year. The course is spectacular with some of the best views of the Peak District. The course is undulating but this adds to the drama of some of these holes. Well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

What a course the staff r very polite n very helpful the breakfast was great 1 of the best we have had as a society n to the course the first 3 holes r very hard then the rest of the course not to bad the fairways were in great condition n the greens were brilliant in fact they r the best I have played on all year they were very fast n true if u want a good challenge go n have a game u won’t be disappointed(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 80 Handicap: 8.3)

Tough Day
Fantastic course and about 50 on the stimp meter!! A course that needs your constant attention from tee to hole, no let up for getting on the greens in regulation!!(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 121 Handicap: 26.7)

My first visit to Hillsborough. The course was in excellent nick. All holes are varied and testing ,especially when it is windy. The greens were very good.

A hidden gem in the heart of Sheffield.
Well established, every hole is interesting and well protected. Nice planting and great landscaping make it a real pleasure to play.

A tough parkland course (previous reviewer incorrectly stated moorland) - very tough opening 3 holes which can ruin your scorecard before you get started! A really good variety of holes and whilst some appear short they are tricky because of the narrow fairways, treelined and the wind! A must play but have your A game on!

A glorious course. A wide variety of challenging golf holes. Try to keep a smidgin' of confidence after the trauma of the first three holes. 5,6,7 & 8 should allow the recovery to get going. Play with a member & it is great value. The best course in the area. Have a pint afterwards and see most people fight with the first!
