Lots of trees
One of the most challenging courses I have ever played. It's a par 73 with many trees and very tight off the tee so accuracy is very important. All bunkers were GUR due to the Corona situation . I suspect the bunkers if they had sand would have been difficult to play. There were quite a few and some very deep.Reviewer Rating

Not the Best but great value
2 day trip which was superb, we opted to play the Emerald both days as the Sapphire isnt great. the fairways were a bit groggy and we played pick and place. Green were better second day after a cut but all in all it was a decent course. £79 dinner bed and breakfast with two rounds of golf cant complain!(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.4)

Emerald Course, Hill Valley
It was my second recent visit to Hill valley yesterday. I had recently played the shorter course, the Sapphire, so wanted to try the Emerald course to compare. The greeting on arrival was again very friendly and professional, the clubhouse looked very nice, the course itself was very nice and quite challenging for my wayward drives, a good parkland course at almost 6,500 yards. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the rough had been looked after too. The only dissapointment was the state of the bunkers, they needed fresh sand adding and a bit of care and attention, but apart from that very good.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 23.9)
