Sapphire Course
This is a Par 66 with 7 par three's and one par 5. which if looked after could be a fantastic course to play. But the greens are the worst I have ever played on, they are in a absolutely discussing state, also the tee box's are not good but only just acceptable.Reviewer Rating

The staff also let this place down, at most venues staff cant do enough for you, here staff wont do anything for you. We went as a golf break which whilst not expensive it wasn't particularly cheap...uk golf breaks has rEviews stating this place is excellent.....this is false, if you take your clubs down to the local park you'll be better placed than at this facility. Save your money and avoid this poor excuse of a golf club.

Once on the course it was clear that the greens were in a poor state of repair. This can not always be balamed on the club as pitchmarks and divots are clearly the responsibility of the golfer, unfortunately the average golfer at this course clearly does not care about fellow golfers!
It is with some dissappointment that neither I or my friends will ever think about returning.

Sapphire Course
Very tight for people who struggle to hit a perfectly straight drive. Greens in very poor condition - there's no decent excuse for this. They should get themselves a decent agronomist and sort this out because it wasn't good enough. It's a quirky course with lots of par 3s. I wouldn't mind playing it again but would have to be assured of it being in a better condition.Staff at the venue were friendly and the room in the hotel was spacious, but poorly maintained. The poor condition of the bathroom showed that the management aren't really paying attention to the details in a way that would keep the hotel venue up to scratch. That's a shame because the overall impression of the poor condition in the hotel and on the course gives the impression that it's just large resort that is churning the numbers without really taking care of the details.

We went as a society and were told we had free buggies to use only to be told 2 days before the day that they could not for fill this.
Then whilst on the tee with our group of 24 the pro shop had booked a senior ladies group in front who were extremely slow and held our group up.

DIFFERENT TYPE OF COURSE
With it switching between par 4 / 3 on every hole it really did allow for practice of short game on some challenging holes.Reviewer Rating

Tough
Although the Sapphire Course is not particularly long and contains seven par 3s, it is still a very challenging test.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course worth visiting
The course itself is fantastic and worth visiting. The hotel is lovely and very suitable for your needs, clean and spacious. The food once arrived was nice but small portions. The pro shop and staff in there were brilliant and very accommodating. The biggest let down and very disappointingly so was the extreme slowness of the service of the hotel bar and catering staff. You could blame the current situation but it was appalling. Ruined the 4 day break for us.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 113 Handicap: 18.8)

Excellent course - poor greens :-(
Challenging Peter Alliss designed course unfortunately let down by the condition of the greens. Given the fact that the course has had a 3 month 'rest? due to Covid, the greens should have been in far better condition.Reviewer Rating
