Stay & Play
Overnight 2 round stay on the 2 courses at Hawkstone. Obviously given the weather things on the fairways were a little dry but good green and tee boxes help!The Championship track is long enough of the back tees with some good challenging drives (water) and approach shots. A really good test for the club golfer.
The second course - Hawkstone - is more traditional parkland, bit tighter off the tees but with sone really nice holes.
Nice welcome in the hotel/clubhouse with very acceptable rooms. The dinner/breakfast included were really good value.
Would recommend for a stay and play or just to play either course.

Hawkstone Park
We played both courses and fortunately the weather was good first day hawkstone courseThis was in a fantastic condition the lay out and greens all good
The only thing that was annoying was the speed of play but it was very busy
The next day we played the championship course we thought it may be not as good as the hawkstone
But to be fair it was just as good

Lovely course picturesque
Stopped here en-route to Wales, to avoid Storm Amy we switched to here over the exposed hilly Welshpool. Very nice course, could well be worth an overnight stay for both courses if the other course is as good as The Championship layout.Reviewer Rating

Great value for money
Our two rounds of golf, overnight stay, 3 course meal and breakfast cost us ?180. Fantastic value for money. Both courses very enjoyable. 3 course meal was great, didn't expect much but exceeded expectations.Reviewer Rating

Nice lay out with some very interesting holes, quite a few blind tee shots and quite hilly.
