Not the Best but great value
2 day trip which was superb, we opted to play the Emerald both days as the Sapphire isnt great. the fairways were a bit groggy and we played pick and place. Green were better second day after a cut but all in all it was a decent course. £79 dinner bed and breakfast with two rounds of golf cant complain!(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.4)

Emerald Course, Hill Valley
It was my second recent visit to Hill valley yesterday. I had recently played the shorter course, the Sapphire, so wanted to try the Emerald course to compare. The greeting on arrival was again very friendly and professional, the clubhouse looked very nice, the course itself was very nice and quite challenging for my wayward drives, a good parkland course at almost 6,500 yards. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the rough had been looked after too. The only dissapointment was the state of the bunkers, they needed fresh sand adding and a bit of care and attention, but apart from that very good.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 23.9)

2 great courses in a lovely setting
A fantastic set up with 2 great courses, both a good test of golf. The sapphire shorter course requires precision golf with tight fairways -it was in great condition. The Emerald course over 6000 yds off the yellows, with testing greens, is superb. Not for the faint hearted!. For the amount of traffic on the courses they are in excellent condition.A great value for money Sunday driver deal.

Upkeep needs improving
Nice course but has A lot of overgrown trees protruding out on the course. Can be hard to find next tees and also to know where you are going off the tees. Would play the other course first on next visit(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: )

Fabulous
What a beautiful course, fantastic fairways, super fast greens, friendly staff in the pro shop; my first time playing here and I absolutely loved it. I'm a high handicapper but I can hit the ball straight, which is required due to the tight fairways. We got a deal on tee off times, ?15 for the round, but even at the usual ?45, it would have been a great experience. The only thing that let it down was the practice range and putting facilities.
