A tough test.
Paid a very reasonable ?15 to play here. It's a demanding course physically with barely a flat hole to be found. Lots of shots to be played with the ball above/below your feet and uphill/downhill lies, testing both your aim and club selection. Typically, my legs tend to get a bit heavy during the last couple of holes of a round, but I remember commenting they were starting to feel that way on the twelfth here! Enjoyed the course nevertheless, it was in good condition and I/we will certainly pay it a return visit, although we'll probably invest in buggy hire next time!Reviewer Rating

excellent condition for the time of year some winter greens and tees but some still full length holes very challenging for a high handicapper like me.
Very friendly in club house giving advice on how to make the visit cheaper!

The course was in very good condition. The greens had just bee treated which made them a little slow but they were true. The course is very interesting and challenging.

A very hilly course. Travel light or use a trolley or buggie. Nice course will go again :-)

played in a society for a memorial of a good friends dad. The course was in great condition all be it the greens were very fast. This course is a great piece of architectural brilliance and i hold it in regards as one of the best golf courses in Yorkshire
