What the club says: Sandhill Golf course was built in 1992 and has now reached full maturity. We continue to provide a high standard of maintenance to produce a course both rewarding and challenging to the club golfer. The course is 6309 yards long PAR 71 for the gentlemen and 5620 yards long PAR 73 for the ladies.

Greens were in very good order but rather slow with the morning rain.
Only let down at this club is no catering available only cold pies and sausage rolls..

The greens in very good condition after dry period with fairways parched as expected, but overall course was in very fine nick. We just dropped in behind Seniors comp. which was quite slow.

Some really tricky greens
Think it was medal day when we visited. Tricky pins and greens generally challenging. Course was in good nick for early season. Acgentle but enjoyable challenge with the sting on the greens. Friendly clubhouse and great meat growlers behind the bar.Reviewer Rating

Easy to find from the motorway.
Good welcome on arrival and plenty of information on the course layout.
Fairways were in great condition and the greens were super fast so you had to really think about your putts.
Club house was good and the staff were very friendly.

autumn leaves
damp and soggy in parts a lot of leaves leading to lost balls but managed to get there in the end best to keep to fairways if you can(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 112 Handicap: 26.4)

great condition nice to have bunkers back in play even if I only got in 1 good pace of play all in all a very good day

Good Course
Played Sunday and was surprised how quick the greens were considering the amount of rain we had!! Course in good nick apart from some of the tee boxes were a little ropey(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 99 Handicap: 23.3)
